I wonder if the Observer regrets that article in the paper this morning? The wind blew all night long, very gusty and same this morning gusty winds and rain. Saw the city going around trying to pick up some of the larger limbs that have fallen over night and trying to clear out storm drains and ditches.
As of 11:am, weather channel just showed a big strong band of showers and thunderstorm nearing Colquitt County to the south, they said this line is producing up to 3 to 5 inches of rain per hour!!
But as the Observer's article puts it, this is nothing but a typical rainy day.
And yes, that article really bugs me if you couldn't tell. Because it is that type of downplaying that puts people off guard, and you should never be off guard during tropical weather that is a fact .
